The 2018 Call for Code challenge inspired coders around the world to create solutions for communities to reduce the impact of natural disasters. In response to the volume of innovative open source technologies submitted by our coding community, IBM has launched Code and Response, an initiative dedicated to taking the winning solution and fully developing it to use in real-time crises. In fact, IBM is currently helping the 2018 winner, Project Owl, launch their project in Puerto Rico. In collaboration with coding challenge initiatives, we're providing training, support, and tutorials that will help you create open tech solutions to be utilized in communities around the world.
